Forefinger and Middle finger placement:

4-SEAM FAST-BALL: WARM-UP CATCH PLAY TRAINING
When throwing the 4-Seam FAST-Ball into the air, look for clear and distinct Black/White “Half Moon” to determine successful throw.

As loosening up, increase Speed and increase distance standing apart
